I'm asking this for a friend of mine who is new to Guild Wars. He recently bought Prophecies and GWEN. I don't have GWEN, I try to help him getting around in Prophecies, and help him leveling to lvl. 20. What we would like to know:

1. Once he is level 20 and starts playing GWEN, will he have access to the heroes there? (remember: he does not own Nightfall).
2. If so, can he take those heroes back to Prophecies and continue the storyline there with heroes?
3. Will he be able to unlock and access the prophecies skills in GWEN which he did not yet find in prophecies? (something like the skill trader in Amber light Camp)*
4. Will he stand any chance in GWEN playing a level 20 chr without maxed attribute points, just a few common skills, and main continent armor/weapons?*

*I don't intent to run him all the way to Droknar or Amnoon Oasis, so he wont have access to high level Prophecies content when he is level 20 and starts playing GWEN.

1. Yes. He'll get a couple of heroes after the GWEN access quest, and the rest will be unlocked throughout the storyline.
2. Yes. Heroes can be taken anywhere, in any campaign, including FOW/UW. Except, of course, for solo quests.
3. Some skills can be purchased in GWEN that aren't available in early Prophecies, but not all. There's also several Elite captures available, but he'll only be able to capture the ones from the Prophecies campaign.
4. It may be difficult, but certainly not impossible. With the new PvE skills, and consumables, GWEN can become easy very quickly.

2. Yes.
3. Don't know, but it doesn't take long ot get to a skill trainer in GW:EN.
4. It'd be tough to get through GW:EN without max armor, most everything you run into there is level 20+ and some of the bosses will make a character with less than max armor dead in one shot.

3. Partially yes /core skills are at hero trainers/, he could cap some nocore and nongwen from bosses.
4. Depens. He will get 3 heroes first thing in gwen and henches alone from there will be able to get him throguht most stiuff, but it could be pain.
